Risk IDS Managed Implementation

Risk IDS is perpetually free to use.  This is, you do not pay for the software and it never expires, which should dramatically reduce fraud system costs within your payments business.  However, it is a large and extremely specialised system; therefore, Risk IDS offers comprehensive and established commercial consultancy services in support of the Risk IDS Framework.

Professional companies understand the benefits of consultancy and how this can drastically lower both the risk and cost associated with an enterprise software project.

Implementation of Risk IDS is where customers will need the most support. Therefore, Risk IDS offer a Managed Implementation service.  The customer will be assigned an experienced implementation consultant, having installed risk systems into small banks through to large multi-border banks.  The implementation consultant will have ‘seen it all before’ and will guide your project down a proven path.  During the project, your implementation consultant will shape your risk strategy and coach you in the use of Risk IDS.

In short, engaging the Risk IDS Managed Implementation guarantees the success of your risk

Milestones

Planning and Analysis

The planning and analysis stage is where the customer is first given an introduction to what the Risk IDS system can do.  This will enable the customer to get the most out of the requirements gathering calls where the implementation consultant will capture and document all customer requirements.

Risk IDS will submit documented requirements to the customer and define the customer dependencies.  This will be accompanied by a project plan, which will define the implementation date.

Development and Risk IDS Test

Once the requirements have been agreed upon, Risk IDS will begin developing these requirements, after which the implementation will be migrated to the Risk IDS test servers that are available securely to the customer.

Implementation and Site Visit

Once the Risk IDS testing has been completed, the site visit can take place, which is where Risk IDS will install the software, install and validate the interfaces and validate the Telephony and SMS Server numbers.  This will take place on the customers’ test servers.

Risk IDS will deliver a three-day training course covering all aspects of the Risk IDS system

Post-Implementation

After the implementation, the customer will begin testing the Risk IDS implementation.  To facilitate the support requests that will come from testing, Risk IDS will introduce the customer to both the online support process and remote support tools.

Risk IDS will provide the customer with ‘Test to Live’ migration procedures.  The customer will execute this procedure, taking the project live.

Tuning and Decision Analytics Site Visit

After around two to three months of use, Risk IDS will return to the customer site to perform a tuning and analysis visit, which will focus on the performance of the Oracle database and make recommendations.

Risk IDS will at this stage begin the Decision Analytics Methodology to improve upon the anomaly detection score that came with the Risk IDS Managed Implementation.  For more information about the Risk IDS Decision Analytics methodology, see the Risk IDS Decision Analytics datasheet.
